MES - Shopfloor and Control Execution

Manufacturing Execution System and time sheet management

Real-time overview to optimize production and decision-making. The data acquisition module takes time sheet management to a whole new level!

The data is collected in real-time by our MES (Manufacturing Execution System), along with the state of your equipment and job orders to produce intelligible portrait of your shop and optimize production and business decisions. The scheduling engine enables you to do what-if scenarios to optimize the resource load, delivery times, batches size, operators usage, etc... A master schedule is then released for the system to execute it. Fully paper based to fully electronic solutions (MES) can be deployed for shop floor instructions.

Shop floor (MES) module

  • Bring your electronic processes and associated instructions directly to the shop floor
  • Give a full 3D view to the operators when available
  • Track all events in your production facilities
  • Offer tools to capture mandatory data like dimensions or non conformity comments
  • Acquire production statistics from the shop floor to fine tune your process data: setup production time ...
  • Insure that all new documents are read by your operators
  • Create a paperless factory Use Notixia scripting tools to create adaptative software that fit all possible industrial configurations

Time Sheet Management

  • Acquire the time sheet information from your employees
  • Use RFID portable time data reader to track movement of your people
  • Generate automatically time sheets
  • Store time related information directly into your accounting software

Through implementation of our partner's time & attendance solution (Zeit Group), we show you more than just clock- ‐ins and clock- ‐outs. Their efficiency solutions offer a bird’s eye view of your entire operation, resulting in increased productivity for all.

The typical workflow our solutions are currently supporting is the following:

Define products

Define your parts, assemblies and products into a catalog that makes reusability much easier. All elements can support configurations (product options) and be visualized with the integrated 3D Viewer. Advanced BoMs management is also possible for your bigger projects.

Define resources

Define your resources including: plants, work units and tooling. This will enable the system to schedule your workload, manage your maintenance cycles, manage resources compatibilities and track resources usage.

Define customers and suppliers

By defining your customers and suppliers you can easly track orders and jobs associated to them and attach useful information to run you operations (shipping info, client preferences, etc.). Orders and inventory management is tightly related to this information.

Define processes

Each product needs a process to manufacture it. By defining this process in our software you can then schedule the operations according to resources requirements assigned to it. Our process planning tool offers a lot of features to reduce the time you spend defining your processes (ex. Standard operations libraries, standard times, compatible resources, etc...).

Operations management

You can create orders and verify impact on your current production on-the-fly what is the impact on your current production. This can be done very rapidly by reusing existing product and process definitions as-is or by creating a new one from your previous experience, capitalizing on your past know-how. The scheduling engine enables you to do what-if scenarios to optimize the resource load, delivery times, batches size, operators usage, etc... A master schedule is then released for the system to execute it. Fully paper based to fully electronic solutions (MES) can be deployed for shop floor instructions. Inventory management is an integral part of Notixia solutions. Integration to your accounting system can also be part of your turnkey solution deployment.
